Private tutor in Great Neck, NY

Education

J.D. from St. John's University School of Law B.A. in Philosophy and Government & Politics from St. John's University International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma High school valedictorian

Experience

I was previously an LSAT instructor and tutor for Kaplan Test Prep for several years. I scored a 171 on the LSAT, and I have taught LSAT courses and provided individualized tutoring. I am a practicing attorney who enjoys tutoring in my spare time, so I continue to tutor on an individual basis. My tutoring services are no longer Kaplan-specific, and I have a flexible teaching style that can be adjusted to meet the needs of different students. My study of logic as a Philosophy major has proven invaluable to me as an LSAT instructor and tutor. My experience as a practicing lawyer has also been helpful to my students. Although I work full-time as a practicing attorney, I continue to tutor when possible because I love teaching and learning. I am very proud that many of my students have gone on to graduate from law school and begin wonderful legal careers of their own.

LSAT tutoring is my hobby! I also enjoy live music, gardening, and cooking. I am a mentor in a mentoring program for high school students called Legal Outreach, and I have performed other pro bono legal services, including working on immigration cases. Fun fact: I have worked in London.
