I hold my Masters Degree from the University of Oxford, where I graduated first in my class with High Honors in 2015. I received my undergraduate from Smith College in Northampton, MA. I am a published critical and creative writer, with extensive tutoring experience across age levels. I am equipped to offer support in critical reading, writing, English Language & Literature, AP tests, SAT critical reading and writing test prep, among others. I have specialized much of my work in college applications, offering support and writing workshops for personal statements and supplemental materials, as well as general counseling. My credentials include teaching work on pilot programs funded by the European Union, arts teaching with the second largest children's theatre in the United States, and top-marks within my own academic pursuits. In addition to my educational background, I have been the recipient of numerous fellowships, scholarships, and awards, including a Fulbright Fellowship Finalist and endorsed candidate for the Rhodes Scholarship. My background includes teaching in the arts, and utilizing the arts as a bridge to academic learning; this body of experience has fortified my ability to truly craft and execute a learning plan particular to each student with whom I engage. I am passionate about helping my students succeed, working creatively to find a fruitful and engaging learning style. I also hold a background in competitive sports, allowing me to draw from a wealth of personal experience when developing a learning plan for a particular student. Each student is different, and I believe that the process behind their success must be just as unique and innovative.
