I graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelors of Science in Adolescent Education (Math) and a GPA of 3.78 I then went on to pursue a Masters degree at the University of Stony Brook and achieved a GPA 4.0 In both my undergraduate and graduate career, I was on the dean's list every semester. I am a NY State Certified Teacher with certifications in Math, Grades 5-12 and Special Education, Grades 7-12. I continue to take post-masters graduate courses to improve my teaching skills.
Experience
I am a passionate 7th grade math teacher in a NYC public school. I have experience teaching both general education students as well as students with disabilities. I also have previous experience teaching both high school and elementary school math. I have tutored students ranging in ages from 9-16.
