I have been a private tutor for over 15 years. I recently worked at Sylvan Learning Center for over 6 years, tutoring kids of all ages in reading, writing, math, and test prep. I specialize in high school and college math as well as standardized test prep. I have been an SAT, ACT and SHSAT tutor for over 5 years. I have also been tutoring kids in Common Core mastery and test prep for two years. I have tutored undergraduate students in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calc, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics, History and Writing. I personally love all aspects of Mathematics. My interest in math grew while I was in college. Many of the philosophers I was reading about in social science classes, were also famous mathematicians. I became ever more interested in the history of math and how people have implemented and used different techniques over the centuries. I am drawn to the logic, rationality and universality of mathematics.

Hobbies
I love the outdoors. I try to get out hiking and camping as often as possible. I also love NY sports! I am big baseball and football fan. I played baseball throughout high school and college. I continue to play baseball for a recreational league on Sundays. I am a big aviation fan and would love to complete my pilots license at some point in my life.
